The short version

Crypto-Casinos.com earns money through affiliate commissions. When you click certain links to operators on this site and then register or deposit, we may receive a commission from the operator. That commission is how we pay for our reviewers, hosting, and the deposits and withdrawals we make during testing.

Affiliate commissions do not influence our verdicts. Operators cannot pay for a Trusted rating, for placement in lists, or for the removal of negative coverage. The full editorial process that separates commercial relationships from editorial decisions is documented in our Editorial Policy.

Which links earn us money

Not every outbound link on this site is an affiliate link.

Affiliate links appear on operator review pages, in comparison lists, and on category pages. They are typically labeled as “Go to site” buttons, or marked with a small icon, or otherwise visually distinguished from editorial links. When you click one and subsequently register or make a deposit with the operator, we may receive a commission.

Non-affiliate links include all links to regulatory bodies, news sources, court records, block explorers, support services, and external publications. We never earn money from these.

Some operators we cover do not have affiliate programs, or have programs we have chosen not to join. We still review and recommend these operators where they meet our criteria. The presence or absence of an affiliate relationship does not affect whether we cover an operator, what verdict we reach, or how we write the review.

What affiliate relationships do not influence

This is the part that matters most, and it is where review sites in this niche most often fail to follow through on what they say.

Verdict

Whether an operator is rated Trusted or Not Recommended is determined by our published Methodology, applied by the editorial team. An operator that fails our criteria is rated Not Recommended regardless of whether we have an affiliate relationship with them.

Coverage

Whether we review an operator is determined by editorial judgment about reader interest, not by the existence of a commission opportunity.

Content

What the review says is determined by our testing and findings. We do not soften reviews, omit material findings, or alter language at the request of operators with whom we have commercial relationships.

Ranking and placement

Where operators appear in lists is determined by methodology score and category-fit relevance. Commission rates do not affect placement.

What we will not accept

Testing accounts opened at operators we review are funded by Crypto-Casinos.com using its own funds, not by the operator. Where an operator offers a no-deposit testing arrangement, we decline. The existence of any testing account is noted in the relevant review.

When an affiliate partner is rated “Not Recommended”

This is the situation that most exposes the gap between a stated policy and an actual one. Our commitment:

If a current affiliate partner is reviewed and fails our criteria — or if a Trusted operator is re-reviewed and the verdict changes to Not Recommended — we end the commercial relationship and publish the updated verdict.

The order matters: editorial verdict first, commercial action second. We do not delay the verdict to give the operator time to address the issues; the operator is informed of the upcoming change to the verdict as part of our right-of-reply process, with a reasonable but bounded window for response, and the editorial decision is made on the basis of facts at the time of publication.

We commit to ending the commercial relationship within 14 days of the editorial decision, and to removing or replacing the affiliate links to that operator within the same window. Where contractual notice periods require longer, the affiliate relationship is publicly disclosed on the affected review page until it is fully wound down.

This policy is non-negotiable. The act of publishing it is part of how it is enforced: a stated commitment is harder to walk away from quietly.

We do not direct affiliate content at users in jurisdictions where the use of cryptocurrency for online gambling is prohibited. Where an operator we cover does not accept users from certain jurisdictions, we surface this in the review.

How we choose which operators to partner with

We do not join affiliate programs for operators we have not reviewed. The sequence is: review first, verdict second, commercial relationship third (only if Trusted, and only if we choose to). We do not pre-commit to affiliate relationships in exchange for early access, exclusive content arrangements, or any other consideration that could pre-shape editorial outcomes.

We may decline to join an affiliate program for a Trusted operator if the program’s terms are incompatible with our editorial commitments (for example, programs that require positive coverage as a condition of participation). Where we have made this choice, we will still cover the operator on its editorial merits.
